Most of the time I believe in promoting health and fitness for positive reasons. Today I’m going against my normal. Today I want you to look ahead to your future and what that will look like if you don’t take charge of your health and fitness.
What does retirement look like to you?
What do you envision?
Are you hoping to travel, golf, keep up with the grandkids? Are you hoping to feel vibrant and discover a renewed zest for life?
Do you see yourself confined to a wheel chair, being weak and frail? Having to take a pill cocktail everyday for your countless ailments that could have been prevented with a healthier lifestyle change? Do you see yourself struggling for energy, feeling tired and grumpy, not having energy to truly enjoy your grandchildren. Not having the mobility to golf, or take a short hike to the beach.
It’s true that becoming healthier now will not guarantee you won’t have health issues when you’re older. But it will most certainly improve your odds by a dramatic margin. And of course not making a change will almost certainly give you a lower quality of life when you’re older… in fact it might be doing that already.
This is my call out to you, this is the time to take action, correct your course and transform your body, your health, your confidence. No excuses, no talking yourself out of it this time. Get the accountability, the action plan and knowledge you need without being intimidated.
