Just want to brag on behalf of two wonderful ladies and fun clients to train. Meet Janet & Myrna two friends who train with us 2 x week. Both ladies are great examples of one of the most underrated overlooked benefits of working out — Quality of Movement! When Janet started training her mobility was limited to the point where she could not raise her arms past shoulder height, she was out of breath after just a few sets of a strength exercises and had to sit down and rest plus her rotational mobility was very limited as well. And Now? Janet can shoulder press 15 pound dumbbells over head as part of a circuit training routine without having to stop and take extended rest breaks. The word “Freedom” comes to mind when your body can move better and do things you want it to do, after all how would you want to spend your retirement years? Myrna also had some movement limitations, but mostly strength of the core and back were her challenges. Myrna has shown fantastic commitment to working out and getting stronger, even performing heavy Deadlifts and Chest Press exercises, proof that you can kick butt and take names at any age. Myrna has also proved you can train even while injured, suffering from a broken ankle she still manages to make fitness a priority and that is why Myrna will continue to succeed, she understand that commitment consistency and compliance are the 3 C’s to success. I’m extremely happy to train and have fun with these two ladies. Well done so far Janet & Myrna!
