Amy has had an incredible month of November! She started training with me in the middle of the month, determined to fit into her pre-ordered wedding dress for March 2013. Initially, Amy was unable to perform a single modified push-up, could hold a plank for about 6 seconds, and was consuming 1-2 cans of pop a day. We started training two times a week and after giving up pop for water (cold turkey!) and making a few other healthy modifications to her diet, Amy lost an impressive 7 inches in total and 9 pounds in 2 weeks. After her third week of training, Amy could perform 3 sets of 12 modified push-ups, and could plank for 3 rounds of 45 seconds. She is so excited about healthy eating that she has texted me pictures of her salads and I always find myself asking for the recipe every time because they look so delicious! Her hard work has been paying off on the ball hockey court as well as I have experienced first-hand the power of her slap shot and increasingly quick defensive skills. With Amy’s determination and 100% commitment to fitting into her wedding dress, I am very excited to see what the next 2 months will bring and am happy to nominate her for client of the month for November for all her hard work.
